Looking to create change in your life? Tired of negative thinking patterns, maladaptive coping tools, or dysfunctional relationships? Desire a more meaningful and satisfying life? You have the ability to create long lasting change, and I am here to help you navigate the journey.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT#90739) in Sherman Oaks, CA and provide therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
I believe in creating a safe, collaborative environment so my clients feel the freedom to confront their underlying issues and move towards long lasting change. I use authenticity, directness, compassion, and nonjudgmental truth to help clients move from feeling stuck to a place of freedom and relief.
I offer an eclectic approach based on individual needs, including Psychodynamics, Object Relations, Emotion-Focused, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Family Systems.
I graduated with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University and over the last decade have worked with a variety of populations. In addition to treating generalized anxiety, depression, stress from life transitions, poor self-esteem, and relationship issues, I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders.
While working at the residential level of care I found my passion to help people heal their relationships with food and their bodies. I have years of experience treating people of all genders suffering from eating disorders; experience includes serving as interim program director and lead therapist at The Bella Vita Residential Treatment Center, La Canada Flintridge, CA and primary therapist at residential treatment centers Monte Nido Vista, Agoura Hills, CA and Monte Nido River Towns, Irvington, NY.
